Anemone 'Blue Shades'

Let the ground in your spring garden reflect the sky with hundreds, or even thousands of tiny star-like Anemone blanda 'Blue Shades' flowers. Like the name suggests, this blue Anemone blanda covers the full spectrum of blues, ranging right through them from clear sky blue to rich amethyst. The tiny almost daisy-like flowers set off these blues with yellow centres. These blue 'Grecian Windflowers' will put on quite a show if planted en masse in shrub borders, allowed to add their special colour to the lawn or used as a carpet around the feet of more showy spring flowers like tulips, hyacinths or narcissi.
