Also known as the Giant Chincherinchee, this plant of many names is a definite improvement on the run-of-the-mill. Ornithogalum saundersiae is the improved version of Ornithogalum arabicum. It's excellent as a cut flower, great for pots and performing very well in the yard!
This multi-functional ornithogalum is grown in Spain and The Netherlands to provide an continuous supply throughout the whole year. The Ornithogalum saundersiae (or Giant Chincherinchee) cut flower is being sold at premium pricing on the famous Dutch flower auction mainly due to the strong stems and big flowers. We advise to plant 3-5 bulbs per pot to create a great show this Summer. We supply top-size ornithogalum bulbs for optimal performance.
